Latino Fashion Week® Chicago – “Without Limits” came to a close this past Saturday with an international runway gala which featured top designers from Latin America presenting their most dynamic designs. Founders Cesar Rolon and Arabel Alva Rosales also brought awareness and raised funds that night for the Puerto Rico and Mexican relief efforts. Overall the three-day event included local celebrity appearances, VIP receptions, designer meet & greets, fun photoshoots, cocktails, and more.
Here are some of the exciting highlights of the final day of Latino Fashion Week:
An architectural edge graced the Paulina Luna collection. Mexican designer Paulina Luna showcased her collection which consisted of garments with incredible structure and shape. She prides herself in using fine textiles such as prima cotton, wool, viscose, silk and more. Her models came down the runway wearing chunky heeled clogs and walked down to a slow, fierce beat. Here were some of the looks:

MAISON MINC SISTERS
The Maison Minc Sisters collection was full of cocktail frocks and evening dresses. Each were embellished with either embroidery, beaded designs, metallic fabric, or lace. The Maison Minc Sisters is a brand created by two Argentinian sisters that studied fashion in college and decided to work together to launch a glamorous line of evening wear. CARLOS DE MOYA
Carlos De Moya is a Dominican fashion designer whose bright colorful garments came down the runway to a fast beat. Unlike the other presentations, the models did not stop to pose at the end of the runway. Instead, they turned around and kept going. All his designs consisted of bright prints, bright color, fringe, or cut in a dramatic silhouette. If you’re looking for a tropical, radiant look, be sure to check out his collection.
